Balinor Meadows is the home of Numinor, the Golden One, and his mate, the Dreamspeaker Atalanta. Numinor and Atalanta are rare and magnificent creatures; winged unicorns (also called Alicorns and Unipegs). Numinor is the color of the rising sun. His bright gold coat gleams as he moves, rippling with powerful muscle. His silky mane falls to his knees, his tail floating behind him like a golden banner. His great feathered wings reach an incredible span, and carry him through the skies with like a hawk. His hooves are golden as is his horn; at the base of the horn is a sparkling diamond. All unicorns of Balinor have this speical jewel, which contains their personal magic. Atalanta, a slender, beautiful winged unicorn, is the color of the sky before moonrise; a soft blend of lavender, blue and shadowy grey. Her soft mane and tail are smooth silver and fall to the ground. Her eyes are deep violet and very kind; her graceful feathered wings are snow white. Her horn is made of purest silver, with a bright ruby at its base. | ||||||||||||||||

The Meadows~ Balinor Meadows is located in a faraway, magical land, accesible only to those who search and trust, and have a kind heart.. Protected and secluded, Balinor Meadows is surrounded on all sides. To the North and the East are the snow-capped Mountains. To the West is the deep, dense pine forests, and to the South, the Red Cliffs which lead to soft sandy beaches along the oceanside. The Meadows themselves are a peaceful, gorgeous haven for all who reside there. Full of lush, emerald green grass, the scent of honeysuckle and sweet flowers fills the air. Through the center of the Meadows, there is a clear, sparkling river called the Imperial River, its banks lined by sapphire willows. Numinor and Atalanta are not the only ones who call this place home. They have many friends who come to the meadows, some who live with them and some who only come to visit, but are always welcome. Among the residents is the Princess Arianna, affectionately called Ari. A beautiful, kind young girl, Ari is bonded to the Dreamspeaker, Atalanta. However all the Unicorns trust her and she is a dear friend to all. Kingdom of Balinor~ Princess Arianna is the daughter of the King and Queen of Balinor, the land where the meadows are located. In times past, the King and Queen, along with the other residents of Balinor, lived peacefully with the Unicorns.. Then an evil force came to Balinor; Entia, the Shifter. He ravaged the land, sending his evil forces, and kidnapped the King and Queen. Now it is up to the Royal Unicorns, Numinor and Atalanta, and their herd to help the Princess in her quest to defeat the Shifter.. | Numinor and Princess Arianna | ||||||||||||||||
